Tina has a strong passion for sleep and has been active in the sleep industry for 10 years. Throughout that time, she has become well respected with many colleagues in the industry, local Respiratory Physicians and General Practitioners. For those that have not met Tina, she has always been fascinated with the physiology of the brain. She originally came from Mackay to Brisbane to complete her tertiary education at the University of Queensland, Studying a Bachelor of Science majoring in Neuroscience.
Her extensive knowledge and understanding of sleep originated from her experience as an overnight sleep technician setting up patients for sleep studies and CPAP titrations in a laboratory at the Wesley Hospital. From there she moved to the day shift where she learnt how to analyse sleep and achieved her internationally recognised credential in sleep technology by studying to become a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
Since moving to mySleep (formerly ResSleep) Tina is constantly building her knowledge and has a special interest in the understanding of how sleep disorders affect the whole body, so if there is anything sleep related that you were interested in understanding more, PLEASE ask her.
If you need any clarification on Sleep Study reports, Medicare guidelines, referral pathways or patient management please don’t hesitate to reach out to Rav or Tina for a phone call or meeting.
